Launching Pad

I know I have promised pictures for some time. I suppose the only piece to the "launching pad" I forgot to include was a trusty assistant that could remind me to do all those things I have promised....like posting pics of the  "launch pad" :

It’s been a fun way to remind the kids of their daily expectations without feeling like a broken record.

I can’t quite convince my husband yet that it’s a good idea to hang their backpacks at the launch pad; however, feel free to flood his facebook page with your thumbs up of approval. J

Believe it or not, my favorite part is the calendar and can easily be replicated in your house in a matter of minutes without spending any money (bonus!). I used an old frame that was in the back of my closet, turned the picture that comes with the frame upside down and pulled a calendar sheet from my wall calendar and attached it with double sided tape. If you don’t have a wall calendar, you can always print a calendar from your computer. Next I pulled out some handy dandy dry erase markers (color coded for each family member so I can see who has responsibilities at a glance from across the room). Schedules, volleyball games, and commitments can be written directly on the glass with a blank space on the side for notes.

Chore Charts include a 14x14 personalized magnetic white board, 10 chore magnets of your choice, and  a dry erase marker.

Chores to choose from include:

Bathtub, sink, tooth brush, comb and mirror, homework, dusting, girl praying, boy praying, books, bed, toy box, piano lessons, music notes, car, rake, lawn mower, shovel and tree, watering can, baby, pet food, fish bowl, dog, cat, bird and shoes.

Although orders are being taken at this time, chore charts will not be available until mid October.

Chore Chart: $28.00

Additional Magnets: 5 for $4.00.

Vacay Fun & Vinyl for T-Shirts & More!

1derfully Made! went on vacation....literally.We spent a fantastic week with our family resting on the beach and 1derfyully made! was not far behind.

When our whole family comes together, the cousins bounce off the walls with excitement. The adults were pondering how on earth we were going to survive 8 days in one condo with 6 adults and 4 (incredibly excited) children ages 4-8 years old. It was a great brainstorm…The Vacay Treasure Box. At first we were concerned with the bribe factor of the treasure box, but the concern drifted into the sunset the minute we all saw the results of a simple saying, “that doesn’t look like treasure box material to me”. I was hooked! Each child got to pick from the treasure box when they showed above and beyond type of behavior or kindness with others. All three families contributed to the box with small trinkets and toys. The box was a hit …. The kids were happy; therefore, the parents were happy! Check it out:

1derfully Made! has BIG NEWS:

Our vinyl design possibilities have just expanded. We now have heat transfer vinyl that can be placed on cotton and other materials. Our designs can now be placed on t-shirts, book bags, or anything you can imagine. Here’s our first heat transfer project:

More vinyl of course! New colors just arrived!

Ordinary to Extraordinary!

Time to cue the Mission Impossible music once more as 1derfully Made! takes ordinary items and turns them into extraordinary personalized gifts.

Our ordinary items started with a clipboard, 3 beach buckets, 1 tub, 4 hand soaps, 2 10 inch plastic dinner plates, 2 dry erase boards, 3-ring binders, and 1 water bottle.

And Viola!....

Dry erase boards come in colors shown above as well as white and are magnetic.

Fun for around the house or beach vacation.

10 inch plastic dinner plate is great for around the pool or with children.

Plates can be personalized with any design and/or name.

Such a sweet tub idea for a bridal shower in Connecticut.

Parker & Cooper were so excited to pick out their own designs. Theses binders will be great for our long car ride for vacation.

Our Newest Family Member

We are so excited to add a new member to our family: a piano!

Well, I say that now; however, the "noise" is already ringing through our house and it's not even 8:15am yet. I keep trying to remind myself of Psalm 100:1-2 "make a joyful noise unto the Lord".

So how do you teach the keys to a 4 year old and 7 year old? You vinyl it of course! Just more proof that 1derfully made! can personalize just about anything.

July 4th Ideas!

Looking for a last minute 4th of July hostess gift for the big BBQ?

Need fun containers for your munchies during the BBQ? I have 5 red and 5 blue tubs left.

Each tub is approximately 16 inches wide and 7.5 inches deep and work great for a hostess gift filled with something fun, ice bucket filled with water bottles, a fun munchie container or whatever other ideas you can create.

We have the July 4^th designs (pictured below) or they can be personalized with family name, initials, designs, family reunion 2011, etc. You can be as creative as you would like. $12 each.

Cups are also available for the big weekend. Same goes for the designs on the cups....you dream it up and we can put it on a cup. The cups are BPA fee, dishwasher safe and great for around the pool. Fun New Designs!

This could quite possibly be some of my most favorite creations yet! I took a brief hiatus from my late night crafting addiction and focused on Vacation Bible School at the church for the last 2 weeks; however, not to fear, I am back...and with a vengeance! God is good and has allowed the orders to start coming in again now that VBS has come to a close.

1st New Favorite Idea:

The fridge can be a scary place sometimes in my home with all the leftovers. I have the best of intentions to reinvent leftovers for meals later in the week; however, as the week goes on and life takes over, it doesn't always happen as planned. You just never really know whether or not to test your luck and give the leftovers a sniff test or just throw it away. So I decided to come up with a fun way to label leftovers....either that or I am just getting desperate and running out of things to personalize around my home.

I had to include both pics so you could see the damage  made to the fruit by my fruit flies (a.k.a. Parker & Cooper) from the time I took picture 1 and picture 2. Poor little tomato though is still hanging tough.

This new vinyl is great! You have your choice of either chalkboard or whiteboard and then you can pick what design to put on the outside of your containers. This may also be a fun way to label wine glasses during a party. Both surfaces are dishwasher safe and can be wiped clean with a paper towel (dry or damp) and reused. The vinyl can be removed but not reused. Now there should be no guessing when I open the fridge!

2nd New Favorite Idea:

Our designs possibilities have just expanded to Batman designs. Thank you Jenn Riley for having a Batman party and giving me one more excuse to buy more designs! Check out the party favors below as well as the fun personalized tub for the birthday boy!

Batman logo made with the chalkboard vinyl in order to personalize for each child.

Includes Batman logo, characters, birthday banner, cupcake holder, binoculars, cake topper,
wrist cuffs, belt, water bottle label, door hanger, mask, party favor bag, and much more!

Everyday seems to bring a new challenge and a new design! So what's in store for tomorrow?
